Adult Learning

Baby Drop-in
Open to all newborn babies up to 1 year.... read more
Baby Clinic
Open to all babies and their parents, Nursery Nurse or Health Visitor present & facility to weigh babies.
Best Start
Focused group for newborn babies and carers concentrating on the child parent relationship. Health Visitor involvement and baby massage. (Referral only).
Breast Feeding Group
For mums to receive support and advice and share any issues concerning breast feeding.
Case Conferences
Social Services utilise rooms at the centre for case conferences and core group meetings.
Council Direct
Direct internet access and telephone contact to Gloucestershire County Council. Your questions answered.
Day Care
A flexible service open from 8.30-5.00.
Family Learning
There are lots of opportunities to develop additional skills to support children’s learning through courses, groups and with your key worker.
Family Drop In
Families/carers are welcome to stay and play with their children (0-5yrs). Different activities every week.
Family Support
A team of trained and experienced staff provide family support at the centre, at home and in the local community.
Holiday Playscheme
Family play scheme for parents/carers and children 0-11years. Lots of low cost activities, outings and theme days during every school holiday.
Home Visits and Home Based Support
Centre staff may make an appointment to visit you at home before you start using the centre. ... read more
Nursery
Children can attend Nursery for 5 sessions each week from 3 years old. Please complete application form at reception and children will be added to our waiting list.
Parenting Assessments
Social Services and centre staff undertake special assessments to measure parenting skills as part of child protection plans for children.
Parents with Prospects
An accredited course available to teenage parents.
Positive Steps
A small referred parenting programme including home support.
Relate

Soft Play Parties

Speech and Language Therapy
The speech therapists support children with their speech and language needs, a weekly clinic is run from the centre.
Supervised Contact
Rooms are available for children to meet with their birth parents when they are living apart.
Tots Group
Follow-up group to Baby Drop-In, open to all 1 to 2 year olds.
Turtles
Referred 2 year old group focussing on early intervention
Two Year Old Pilot
A pre-nursery group where children can attend for 3 sessions a week to learn and develop pre-school skills. Places are allocated according to need.
Young Parents Group
Parents of children who themselves are under 21.
